It is the tiger year! This is equivalent to me being 24 since I am also born in the tiger year. Time flies and I have already pass through 2 rounds. Suddenly feel that I am so old le. =(

This year cny was as usual. Spent a whole day doing spring cleaning on cny eve. During spring cleaning, I realized that I still keep a copy of my secondary school english notes on summarising skills. Haha...I believe that I kept it coz I feel I will still need it. Had a wonderful reunion dinner at my granny's house that night and we started playing cards. I won about 11 bucks that night.

The first day I went to temple to pray to my great grandparents before proceeding to my granny's house for breakfast. Next, I went to my granny's good friend (my lao yi) house and lastly my mum side granny house. Saw my cute little nephew, Shalom. He is already turning 2 this year. Super cute and he is full of expression. He can walk and say simple words. When he arrive, he became the center of attraction and my granny just keep saying she want more great-grandchildrens.

On the second day, my relatives came over to my house at about 2.30pm. Then we started playing cards again and had steamboat for dinner.

Some of my students msg me some new year greetings while some wish me online. Augustine asked if they could come over my house to bai nian. However, I am not very keen on the idea of them coming to my house. Haha.. had a conversation online last nite with my ex-sec 5. Supper funny. Here is the conversation:

Finally got my graudation photos taken and posted up. I graduate in July but I drag till late Decemeber to have the photos taken. Well, I do not really like the photos. The pose looks so unnatural. =(

Baked pineapple tarts on Sunday and it was super tirring. However, seeing that container of pineapple tarts that I baked, I feel a sense of achievement. I shall make the effort to bake every year. =D

Felt loved to always have nice people around me.

On Tuesday, Ben (my ex-student) suddenly call me and ask me where am I. I was a little surprised and just answered him that I am at home since I had no school on Tuesday. He paused and say "I am now in NIE library. Actually, I wanted to find you for lunch. But since you are not in school then nvm." Suddenly, I felt touched. My student would make the effort to call me out for lunch when he come to NIE. Another of my ex-sec 4 student, Jenny, also send me a little cute tissue holder and a nice hand-made card with a thank you message. For those who knows me, whenever I see a card, especially a hand-made card, my heart will melt. Thanks Jenny!

From my students, I learn how innocent and pure friendship could be, how they can actually fully put their trust with people, how they can really smile and give you comments from the bottom of their heart. This is something that I could not find in the adult's world whereby everyone is smiling so fakely. I hope that they could remain this genuine pure heart forever.

Of course, not forgetting my lovely colleagues, Hidayah and Kok Bin. Kok Bin will always help me with my heavy stuff and provide lame joke that brighten up my day. Hee! Nice to have such a lame friend around =p. Hidayah msg me that she missed me after not meeting me for like a whole week becoz of e-learning and today, she just msg me to go out for lunch together. I missed her badly too! However, I just reborned my hair, so I cannot go out. Thanks ger! I get ur thoughts!

Baker's Challenge + ah mei's concert

There was Baker's Challenge on Friday at NIE. It was a race whereby each group sends in 4 members consisting of at least 1 female to run 2.4km. My GESL group took part and our 4 runners are: Britmand, Patrick, Flince and Helen. I was in the cheering group and we did mini green posters to cheer for them.

I felt so bad that I had to leave before my groupmates run the race as I had to rush down to Kallang for ah mei's concert.

Got 4 free tickets from my aunt for the ah mei's concert so I invited Hui Ping, Seok Yan and Raymond. It was my first time attending a concert and Hui Ping was late!!!! I already felt so bad that I did not stay on to cheer for my group mates and leave earlier while Hui Ping who is travelling from home was late!!!

I do not really like her new songs. I prefer her old songs. However, the concert was mainly on her new songs although she did sang a few of her old songs like jie tuo, ting hai etc... Her voice is fanatstic especially when she sing solo without the music. Can hear the power in her voice. Overall the concert was still not bad. After the concert, we went to eat supper at Bukit Timah and reach home at about 1.30am.

After my tuition on Saturday, I went out for dinner with Wing. We ate at Hereen's Waraku and the service was apparently bad. They do not have enough staff and they do not refill the hot water. They took a long time to serve the food and the refill the water.

After dinner, we went to watch Avatar. Wing bought tickets for the 3D one and it was a super nice movie. I love it and I feel it is worth the 14 bucks. Wanna thanks Wing for accompanying me to watch although he has already watched it. Reach home at about 1am. Was super tired for 2 continous day of late nites out

I realise that I have not logged in my blog for a long long time. Haha...well since I am super free now, I should just update my blog.

I am currently in NIE and I am stuck at here for the next 1 year. Currently, I only have 2 modules (ICT and Educational psychology), so I only need to go school for Mon and Fri. Super sian. Although I am veri slack now, I did not like the modules. They are so arts, while I am such a science person. It has been ages since I last write essays and now all my assignments are essays. =(

I enjoyed my time more back in ZSS. The students especially my grad class kids are so cute. Enjoy my time with them. They never fail to make me smile even though they make me angry at times. Their unique way of thinking and their innocent thoughts always amazed me. I will definitely miss them and remember my this batch of students who made me like teaching. =D Wishing them all the best in their future!

Went to JP Kunshinbo on last Wednesday to celebrate Loon's belated bday!! As it was Wed, I got ladies night promotion which was 29.90++ for 2 hrs while the guys were 35.90++. The food was nice espcially the alaska snow crab..yummy yummy!!! Hee! Nice eating with Ernest n loon as they are like my personal server. Ernest pratically help me peel all the crab and prawn. Hee! Thanks!

The deserts were nice too!!! Sy, you will love the deserts!!! The chocolate fondue is super yummy too. The chocolate is super rich and there is icecream, and all kind of small cakes. There is in fact quite a range of food. Quite worth the price.

Had an enjoyable dinner with nice food and nice people. Hope zloon enjoy the mini bday celebration and like the present. Happy Belated Bday Loon!

Have been rather busy with my tuition lately.

A lot of unhappy things happen during this period.

Feel that it is all becoz I was too greedy.

Dun seems to learn from my mistake.

People say I am not greedy or greedy is fine..ya when I look at other people, they are greedy too.

But they dun seem to be unhappy. In fact they even get what they want.

However, why do I always feel so unhappy?

I demand too much things?

Think god is punishing me for being greedy, for being so demanding.

East Coast Park

As my dear papa is going back to NS for 5 months this cuming Monday and to celebrate for the release of the results with all of us graduating with 2nd upper honours, we went to East Coast Park on Friday. He picked Zloon, Tan and me up at Bugis then we headed toward ECP. It was a long long time since I last went to ECP. How long ago? If I never remember wrongly, the last time I went there was sy's friend 21st Bday party, which was like 3 years back. I dislike travelling to the east unless someone fetch me there. =D

The weather was super hot, went to Bugis temple to pray before meeting up with the rest. When they saw me, they commented that what I wear was inappropriate to go to the temple. I did not know that we are not suppose to like wear shorts and sleeveless top to temple. Shall go there and pray again one day. Hee!

Reached ECP at at 5pm. Ernest got his own blades, zloon rented blades while Tan and me rented bikes for 2 hours. After about 1 hr, we travel back to the starting point to wait for Yanni. I decided to play wif blades. So I exchange with zloon and took his blades. Have been trying to learn blading since sec 4 but apparently till now, I still do not know how to blade. =( After the 2 hr rent is up, we headed towards Marina parkview for dinner then home sweet home.

Had an enjoyable day! It was a long time since I last went out for activities. Well, hope everyone enjoy the day get a good job and move on happily after graduation. Hope my dear papa stay happy and lose some weight in his NS. I am gonna miss u!

FYP Presentation + Taiwan Trip

Haha..lazy to update my blog. I believe everyone could see the photos on facebook and I do not have all the photos..so I shall not upload photos in my blog.

FYP Poster Presentation

Finally had my last presentation as a student on 8 May 2009. It was my FYP poster presentation. As usual, I was late. Was suppose to reach Nanyang Audi at 9.30am. Guess what, I reach at about 9.50am when the event starts at 10am. When i reach, I was frantically trying to find where is my board to stick up my poster and was rushing off to fill my bottle with water. In the end, I came back into the Audi behind the profs. Lai Zhiping saw me walking into the hall and he was my moderator. How lucky can I get...lol. Waited till about 11.20pm before Lai Zhiping actually came over to my poster and ask me to present it. My presentation was not very smooth. He keeps stopping me and asked me lots of questions for each section of my poster. This makes me more nervous and I did not manage to present my poster the way I practice, missing out on things here and there. I did not manage to finish presenting the whole poster too as he stop me and ask me to just wrap up with my conclusion. Have a feeling he had not really read my report as he was asking me all kind of questions. Hope he is lenient and would give me a high mark.

After presentation, was walking around a little and taking photos with friends. Well all the photos are in facebook. Had a mini buffet which I did not eat much too as I dun find it nice to eat. After presentation I went home, sleep, give tuition and pack my luggage for my Taiwan trip.

Taiwan Trip

Well..too much photos will upload onto facebook soon. Went to taiwan from 9 May till 14 May. Generally the trip was quite pleasant. Notice that the mrt and expressway system, roads etc are all veri similiar to sg. The people there are very polite and courteous. They actually line up to keep right when they use the escalator. They also give up seats to the elderly and line up to board the mrt unlike singaporeans who are rushing to enter. Their road are much wider then sg road although I find their traffic is a bit messy. Their driver side is also on the left (opposite of sg). They have rubbish bin in mrt station too and they have bin for rubbish and for recycle. Their buildings are mainly squarish shape and most look rather old. They have alleys and backstreets and their house structure is a bit different.

Day 1

Took a 7hr + air flight which transit at hong kong in the morning 10.10am and reach taipei taoyuan airport at about 5.30pm. We took a 1hr + bus journey to our hotel (good ground hotel) at ximen. By the time we reach the hotel it was about 7.30 pm and we arrange to meet at 8pm to go for dinner. Was just walking around ximending for the 1st nite. Ximen is a very big shopping area. There were food cart selling all kind of taiwan food and we bought some to eat. We also went to eat the famous "ah zhong mian xian". It is delicious..yummy yummy! =p the rest went to room 18 in the nite while me and huiping was just walking around ximending. Think we got quite familiar with the place through all the walking. However all the shops started to close at about 11pm so we just head back to hotel to bath and rest.

Day 2

Arrange to meet at 8am to go for breakfast. In the end, the rest got hangover and only me and huiping woke up early. So we juz went out to walk walk. Was so bored!!! Taiwan shops actually start to open only at like 11 am. So when we went out, the whole street was empty. Went to eat KFC's egg tart and prawn ring. Something different from sg and it taste yummy yummy! Waited for the rest and left the hotel at about 1+ pm. We headed to "wu fen pu". It is like a gaint bugis street. About 20 times bigger than bugis street. The trend is a bit similiar to bugis street and their clothes are cheap. Mostly cheap lar..some still quite ex. In the night, we went to raohe night market and eat all the different kind of taiwan xiao chi. Meet my brother at wu fen pu and at rao he there too!

Day 3

Went to the so called "orchard" area of taiwan like xin guang san yue, sogo and the electronic market. The shops are mainly like taka isetan and paragon in sg. Super classy and upmarket. Never buy anything from there. Just took a walk around. In the evening we went to taipei 101. Not as fantastic as I thought it would be. Spend about $20 sing to go up to the 89 story where I just walk one round to see taipei night view then there is nothign else to do there. It has the world fastest lift whereby it took onli like a a few seconds or maybe 1 minute to reach the 89 floor. Saw some fireflies up in the open there too. Next we headed toward shilin night market, which is one of the biggest night market there. As it was too big, we did not maange to walk finish the entire shilin market.

Day 4

Went to beitou hot spring and spend almost the entire afternoon there. Took a private room with huiping and was enjoying the hot spring. In the evening we headed toward dan shui and went to the fisherman's warf in the nite. Wanted to shop at dan shui old street more as it is super far from our hotel so I dun wish to travel back again. But due to time constraint, we had to rush off to fisherman's warf to go see the lover's bridge. I don't really understand why it is call the lover's bridge as it seems just like a normal bridge to me.

Day 5

As everyone have different views on where to go, we decided to go free and easy on the last day. So me and hp decided to go the taipei underground mall. Wa..their undergroung mall is like a never ending path with shops along the way. Was so tired from the walking. It is like a whole stretch of shops streching across 3 mrt stations. Actually I feel that it would be good for sg to adopt this too since space is limited in sg. Taiwan has a no of underground mall. In the evening we went to "taida" (Taiwan National University). It was beautiful. Their path is very wide and he building is rather unique. Most of the student cycle there as I think it takes quite a while to walk to the different block. Went to eat at thier so called eating points and their crispy chicken cutlet is fantastic. The nicest I have eaten in Taiwan. Yummy! There was a night market just opposite the university called "gong guan night market". So we went to take a walk around there. Nothing much over there so we headed towards "shi da night market" Bought "qing ting zhuang nai" (pearl milk tea) and che lun bing (japanese pancake) over there as this are the 2 famous xiao chi over there. Then we headed back to shilin night market. However I still never manage to finish walking shilin night market.

Day 6

Time to return home. Was packing and went to 7-11 to buy cute mini bottle drinks b4 i left for taiwan. Took the bus back to taoyuan airport at about 11am and reach the air port at about 12.30pm. However our flight was 3.20pm. So I was just walking around and using the free internet acess at the airport. Took another 7 hr flight which also transit at hk airport and reach sg at about 10pm. Bought 2 bottle of martel and 6 cans of beer, took a cab and back at my sweet home.

Had some friendship problem in school again. It kinda of making me hate school more and more. I wake up every morning to find myself dread of going school, a feeling I never had throughout my years of schooling. Miss the good old days in Sec sch and Jc. I am sorry for making some people around me worried for me as I get a little emo at times. Sorry and Thanks for the concern!
Went for Shalom 1 yr old birthday last Sunday. Had buffet at Paris International Buffet at Marina Sq. The food was not very nice...but Shalom was so cute. I wonder if I will get the photos that I took with Shalom.
Finally submitted FYP final report and my FYP Poster is also done.
Exams are approaching...in fact it is next week. I had 2 papers this sem and my exams ends on 27 april. So feel free to ask me out after 27 april.

I was unhappy at times lately.

Trying very hard to get used to certain things and apparently my heart is not veri obedient.

Since I am so bored this weekend, I shall update my blog on CNY!

As usual, I was doing spring cleaning for the entire day on new yr's eve. It is super tiring as I only tidy up my room once a year which is during spring cleaning. Initially, I was sneezing non-stop as there was too much dust. Can you imagine my table and cupboards were covered with a whole layer of dust such that the whole cloth turn black as I was wiping it. After all the cleaning and shower, I headed to my granny house for reunion dinner. This year, it was more lively as my aunts and their family were there too. We had our dinner and we had lao yu sheng on new yr eve. Lol..I think it was the first time I ate lao yu sheng on new year eve.

On the first day of cny, we went to my both side granny house. I was eating the whole day..everywhere has got so much nice goodies and drinks..so tempting. Everyone say I gain weight this year. So sad. It is time to lose some weight. Finally, I saw my little newphew (Shalom). He is 10 mnth old and so cute! Now, I have become an aunt. Sounds so old. Had lao yu sheng again at my granny house.

On the second day, My aunt and uncle came over to my house as my dad was the eldest son. They arrive at my house at abt 2pm and we started gambling. Had steamboat for dinner. The food was too much. Even had a few rounds of eating and I was super bloated that nite.

On Thurday, we went to yh house for steamboat. we played mahjong and some ps 3 games at her house too. The steamboat was super slow. It takes quite a long while for the soup to boil everytime we add things in. In fact, it was the slowest steamboat I ever had. Had another round of lao yu sheng again. The guys took a super long time to cut the fruits but I muz sae they did quite a good job. Look neat and yummy. LOL

Did not feel very well for this entire week..in fact it started on last Thursday. Had diarrhoea on Thursday nite after which I did not have good sleeps at nite, waking up a few times in the middle of the nite.. Was feeling kind of moody..not irritated but juz a little moody lately...Could not concentrate well on my work as well since last Thursday. This make me even more moody as I have quite a no of work to do..there is FYP and design..haiz..wonder if it is PMS.

2008 Last Gathering

Went out wif my dear wifes just before sy left for her Genting trip. It kind of marks the last outing for yr 2008.

Hortpark Trip

Finally, I went to have a walk at Hortpark. Was talking about going hortpark since last semester. Yeah!! There are certain location along the park that are quite nice. Did not manage to walk the entire length of the park as we started the journy too late. Hope to walk the entire length one day. Thanks 4 accompanying me! =D

Patrick 22nd Bday!

Went to Just Acia Noodles at Suntec to celebrate Patrick's 22nd Bday. The food was cheap and there is free flow of drink + ice-cream. The food taste rather nice but the ice-cream dun taste very nice. Brought 22 dounuts and a muffin for Patrick. Hope Patrick have a wonderful Bday!

Sentosa

Went to Sentosa last Saturday. It was bright and sunny. We played volleyball, frisbee, soccer and captain ball. Got burn on my shoulder despite putting a lot of sunblock lotion.

Last Day of 2008!

Ok! Since this is the last day of 2008, I decided to write something.

This year has been quite an eventful year for me as I have encountered a number of incidents that I have not encountered previously. There are happy and unhappy encounters. As what friends around say...treasure the happy encounters and treat the unhappy encounters as a lesson in life. Have some unahppy relationship with people around me but at the same time I have learnt that I must be strong and deal with problems myself. Haha..was trying veri hard to think what are my achievement for 2008. Erm..sucessfully completed my 2 semester of stressful ntu study life...sat on a motorbike for the first time in my life...went to wild wild wet...juz highlighted my hair red on 30/12/08..guess these are my achievement (if u consider them as achievement =p).

Anyway, those are in the past, I cannot really remmeber what I did for 2008. Hee..it is better to think of 2009 instead rite. Here is my wishlist for 2009:

1) Family healthy + happy

2) Friends healthy + happy

3) Graduate with good grades + find a good job

4) My so called " special someone" to appear

5) Gain more wisdom

6) Lose weight!!! (Best by 5kg)

7) Be more pretty!!

BBQ at Pasir Ris

Had a BBQ at pasir ris abt 2 weeks ago just before tan left for bali. Steffe family had book a chalet and invited us for BBQ. Did not want to go initially as it is too far. Luckily, ernest offer me a ride from Bukit Batok to there and from there back to Bugis. Otherwise, I would have just give it a miss. We were suppose to arrive there at about 6pm. I arranged to meet Ernest at 5.30pm at the petrol ksiok. I end up reaching there at 6.15pm instead and we reach at abt 7.30pm as there is jam along PIE. So sorry towards Ernest for making him wait so long and causing him to get caught in the jam as well.

When we arrive everyone else have reached and were bbqing and eating. There are no more satay when we arrived. Tan gave me a large peice of chicken chop when I arrive..hee..so sweet!!

After dinner, Steffe's parent made tea for us too. I think it taste rather nice and each of us were to drink some as it is said to relieve the "heat" from the bbq. Thanks Steffe for the wonderful BBQ!! Super full after the BBQ.

Fish n Co 10 Anniversary

Tan informed us that Fish n Co is celebrating their 10 annivesary this month and so we went to eat Fish n Co last Thurday. The prmotion for the week was fissh and chip of 10 different country at a price of $10++. There was suppoe to be free cake too but I dunnoe why they say we muz wait till 9 to get the free cake. So dissapointed. In fact we ate damn slow to stay till 8 and our main aim is to get the free cake..but no free cake *sob sob*

Finished my paper on Thursday...was suppose to go sing k with hp and sy on Friday..but it was shift to Saturday. Lucky it was shifted to Sat otherwise I would have met my uni friends at crystalbell on Friday. It seems like a long time we went out to sing k and have a nice chit chat... It is so good to go out after exam!

Of course there will be photos whenever we go out..hee..coz we juz love taking photos..=p

After k, we went to Miss Clarity at bugis..it was recommended by sy..n the food was quite nice the price was affordable as well.. the plate of cheese fries and saussage was abt $11.80 and it was super cheesy super yummy..we love it! The main course was abt 10+ and there was no gst and service charge. So it was quite cheap..

After dinner, we went to sit outside the national library and chit chat for about 2 hrs? We were talking about the dreams we have..and it was quite interesting..did not know sy will actually go to look for interpretation of her dreams..lol...I had a happy day...thanks darlings!

Birthday Surprise From My Darlings!

Was so shocked to see both of my darling at my doorstep holding a cake and a bouquet of lilies on my Birthday. As my birthday falls just one week before exam, I did not really intend to celebrate my birthday. I was still busy doing my design project in the nite until some friend wish me happy birthday at 12. I end up sleeping at like 3.30 am in the morning rushing design project. Was so damn irritated with school work at that time. Then the next day, my 2 lovely darling turn up wif my favourite flower and cake to help me celebrate my birthday knowing that I have no wish to go out to celebrate at all. Thanks you so much! Stress or Dumb?

Exams are finally over!! This exam was in fact my longest period exam. It actually streched over 3 weeks. Almost lost the momentum to study in the middle as it is simply too long a period. Actually all the paper except plant safety was fine. I would say that it is relatively direct and if u study you will score. However, I was veri demoralised after my ENS and Design paper. This was my first time being so dumb in exam. I dunnoe why I am not thinking properly for this exam. I could not finish the 2 paper. For ENS, I never touched 2 questions that sum up to 16 marks. For design, it was worst. I actually missed out the simplest question and it is also the question that carry the most mark. WHAT AM I DOING??? Now, I am quite worried about my ENS and Design. I think i will do veri badly for design and I was so afraid I have to "tabao" for design.

Anyway for now, exams are over which marks the end of the semester. I am super unhappy this semester. Lots of things happen and I think my EQ is super low. Hate going school this semester...have to deal with pple I had difficulties communicating and handling some other situation in school. So glad that this semester was over. But as what zloon say..uni life should be vibrant and colorful..i juz a a super vibrant life this semester and based on what eugene say it is time for me to grow up and learn how to deal with problem myself not always relying on others.

Despite all the unhappiness, I am so glad to have friends like my darlings and eugene who are always there to listen to me and cheer me up. No matter what happen, you all will always be there to listen to my problems and comfort me. So glad to have u all! I love you all! *Muacks!*

Timetable

My latest and confirmed timetable is as followed:

Having some difficulties in reading fyp lit research as the topic is really very dry and boring. There is quite a no of techincal terms which I have some difficulties understanding it too. Kind of irritated by the readings at times.

Core Module Projects

This sem is a project sem I would say. All my core modules are project basis. There is like E & S project due on week 5, Design project due next week, Proff Com assignment due week 6 and Plant safety project on its way...Pratically flooded by projects.

Moody

Got rather moody lately espically on Mon & Tues for no reason. Just all of a sudden become very depressed. Feel like hidding in a corner to cry out loud. It has been a long time since I last lost control of my emotions. In fact after sec sch, I am able to control my emotions quite well. But, on Tues, I almost lost control of my own emotion. But I manage to recover from it at abt 4.30pm in the evening. Thanks hp n sy for ur concern. I think I scare both of you tat day. Felt sorry towards ernest too as I reply him back in quited a pissed off tone. Sorry!

Sec Sch Friends

Met a few sec sch freinds in NTU. Firstly I met Irwan in the library while trying to find some books for my fyp. He still recognise me and remmeber my name..chatted with him for a while and found out tat he got direct entry into mat sci eng yr 2. Next, I met Wenjie at the busstop. Apparently we both took the same 180 back but I was sleeping on the bus. So I did not see him until i alight from the bus. He got into computer eng. Happy to see both of them in NTU. More and more familiar faces.. Lastly, I met Bing Hui on 180 too. He too wanted to get into NTU chem eng. Although by the time he get in, I have juz graduate, I hope he could get in.

Olympics, National Day, School

I got a long long weekend all thanks to Singapore's bday! From this semester onwards, all public holidays that falls on Sat will be replaced on Mon..shiok!

Olympics

Miss the olympics opening which I never even take note when it started..haha...But over the weekend I was in front of the tv watching quite a no of matches. I watched swimming, volleyball, hockey and basketball...Was quite happy for singapore li tao..hope she could help us win a gold medal tml..

National Day

This yr national day was quite boring for mi. I never even really bother to watch the ndp on tv. Anyway, juz wanna wish Singapore a happy 43th bday! May there always be peace and the nation continues to progress!

School

Was suppose to spend time doing lit research for my fyp. However, I either end up watching olympics or go out..kind of bored to read abt those stuff..but I NEED to READ!!! Dunnoe y I m getting more and more lazy..everyday I wake up at abt 1pm then i slowly eat watch tv till 3+ then i go flip th ebook 2 pg..i feel so sian..then i went online or chit chat wif friends..totally no studyng mood. Worst still till now..2nd week of sch, my timetable is not finalise yet. Still could not get a place in c44..and tat ccb lec really sucks! Can juz jolly well skip his lesson and forget abt printing his notes. I am still having to take 23 au this semester while hp is jolly well taking 18 au n sy is taking 12 au..next semester still got 20 au while hp wif 12 au n sy wif 8 au...y is life so unfair...bloody hell chem engineering lar....

Finally!!! I PASSED my driving!!!

Went for driving today wearing red bra and red panty..lol..I even went to 2 temples to pray and ask for a "fu" to ensure good luck for driving test. Supertitious rite..lol..anyway..it is worth it. I PASSED!!! =D

Actually, I got more demerit points this round and I feel that I did not drive as well compared to my first test. But, I learnt from my previous mistake. This time round, I slow down a lot whenever I approach traffic junction and predestrian crossing..didnt want another immediate failure for not giving way to predestrain. And today, I realise in driving test, be extremely careful n more or less u will pass...even if ur speed is like really slow at some area..u will still pass...but if u drive normally(higher speed)..you are more likely to fail..lol..

Should update a little on school stuff since sch is starting soon. School starts on 4 Aug which is the following Monday and it is also my driving test date. So fast the 3 mnths holiday is gonna end. But I am also kind of veri veri tired of working.

Currently, my time table is as follow:

hp n sy...see when we got common slot k..can lunch together. We have not been in school wif the 3 of us together for a year.

Regarding my fyp, I got allocated Investigation of mechanical properties of polymer nanocomposites under proff Lesslie Loo. Here is a brief description from my proff:

Polymer nanocomposites are polymers with some nano-fillers dispersed in them. This is done to improve some of the properties of the polymer, such as mechanical or thermal properties. You will use either nylon6/clay or polyvinyl alcohol/clay as your materials. You will use the Instron
machine to perform mechanical tests, from which you will analyse the Young's modulus, tensile strength, strain to break etc of the materials. You won’t be using the flexural machine or TMA.

He passed mi 6 articles to read. But I barely had the time to read them. So tired everyday and I have too many activities on hand.

CPF Family Day!

CPF Family Day was on 12 july. As I am just a temp staff, I am not eligible to go for the fmaily day at Sentosa. However, Joreen got extra tix, so I was invited to go.

The event satrt at 3pm. But we reach vivo at 3pm and went to do some shopping first. We only enter sentosa at abt 5pm.

The last event was the new musical fountain Songs Of The Sea. The pros were nice. However the story and the musical fountain effect was not nice. I persoanlly prefer the old muscial fountain. The only special thing was there is fireworks.

Met up with Chai yong on Friday at bp plaza. We had a simple dinner at KFC and we proceed to starbuck to chit-chat. Always enjoy chatting with chai yong and as usual we talk abt guys, vanity, gossip and all kinds of things...

Went to Lavender to have dinner with Steffe, Andrew and Ernest on Thursday. Was suppose to go there to eat prawn noodle which Ernest claim tat it tatse nice. But the stall was closed. So in the end, we end up eating a variety of food. The food there are all quite nice. Wide variety and normal hawker price. Nice nice!

There is this unique pancake. Never seen it at ouside before and it taste cheesy...so cheesy..hee..yummy! I ate up most of the pancake. The xiao long bao there was not nice...there was no soup inside and the mince meat inside tatse weird and dry...yucky! That was the only food that I think tatse horrible..

After eating, we went over to mustafa for a walk. It was a long long time since I last step into mustafa. There were tons of things there...tons of special things that you dun see at other place too. I was mainly playing with the stuff. Brought some chocolates back too!

Came across this letter when I was working in CPF. It was a returned letter and I find it so funny. Could not help laughing when I saw it and I took a snap shot of it. I believe that the person who return this letter back to cpf muz be the one who is being slashed (the house owner)...

I forgot to update on my wisdom tooth extraction as well. I went to extract my wisdom tooth about a month ago. It was a hoorible experience. As my tooth is too long, I took xray 3 times...but still could not manage to capture the end of my tooth roots. So in the end, the dentist juz pluck. My teeth is quite big and stubborn. I had a total of 6 jabs and the dentist have to drill and shake for 3 times before my wisdom tooth actually start moving. By the 4th time, my tooth finally give way and it came out. I had a few stiches as the hole was quite big. omg..saw my tooth when it was out..super long can...didnt know a tooth can be so long. for the next 4 days, my mouth was swollen. So one side of my face become a sq shape. I look damn weird and awful lor. Other then school and work, I never even go out..and I give ernest house potluck a miss too...

Post exam activity

Forgot to update on the first post exam activty. I went to holland village to eat with steffe, ben, andrew and ernest on the day after modelling paper. We ate at a jap restaurant but i could not remmeber wat is the name. The ambience is veri nice and relaxing but the food is so-so only. Their price are quite reasonable though. Here are the photos.

City hall outing

We had an outing organize by ernest super last min and he was late!!! Lol. He asked a whole big group of NTU coursemate and in the end he was the late. As it was the first day of gss, the crowd was horrible. Everywhere is so crowded. As i am the ealiest to reach, I went to shop around first. However, I gave up after like being squashed flat when i entered the two shops. How do pple actually shop when the clothes is all around and it is super difficult to squueze through....

All the resaturant que is super long. Finally decided to just settle for Thai express as the que is the shortest. We only started eating at abt 8.45pm.

The food!

After dinner, we proceed to chjimes for a drink. We played zhong ji mi ma till about 11pm before we left the place and head for home. Steffe and me share a cup of deink. Together with andrew, we order 2 glass of Magarita (dunnoe how to spell). It taste horrible. Tatse like some kind of cough syrup. In the end, Steffe and mine drink became one of the forfit for zhong ji mi ma..and we order another drink. We order cosmo (dunnoe how to spell too) and I find it taste quite nice. Out of all the drinks, I think the nicest was long island.

Grandfather death anniversary

The entire weekend was spend on my grandfather death annivesary praying stuff. The event was quite large scale I would say. We brough him a nice big house with 1 gold and 1 silver mountain at the side, 1 mercedes with a driver (my mum say it is too squarish while I tell my grandma she should buy a sports car instead =D) and many bags of gold ignots.

Outing with Chai Yong

It has been quite some time I last went out with Chai Yong. Feel kind of bad abt it. I finally went out with her. We first went over to queensway there for a swimming suit warehouse sales as I need to get a new swimwear. The weather was bloody hell hot and that so call warehouse sales onli have a few swimwear. Worst, the designs are all kind of old but I must say it is super cheap..$20 for all swim wear. So in the end, I end up empty handed and we proceed on to town. We just walk around and there was la senza sales..40%. I ended up buying stuff from there and we headed home. As I brought some online stuff, I am meeting the seller at bukit panjang lrt station. Chai yong accompanied me and we took some photos together..haha...but i look veri awful so shall not post up the pic. Lets's meet up again soon! =D

Wild wild wet

My mum's company family day was at wild wild wet. So I ask my mum to get for me tix and I end up going wild wild wet with steffe, eugene, ernest, ben and andrew. I know I am kind of mountain tortise lar..it was actually the firts time I went to wild wild wet. Before enterig wild wild wet, ther is free airbrush tatoo and I went to tatoo a scorpio as well as a babe on my right and left arms...look damn cool!...=D.

There is not mch stuff over there,but I was surprise that we could actually played from about 3 pm till 6.30 pm. Feel kind of bad towards ben as he rushed down taking cab and he did not went down to play wif us. haiz so sad!

Bowling and Steamboat

After my intersem paper on Thursday. The paper was relatively easy..or rather i studied too much for an su paper...I went bowling at marina sq with ben, steffe and zloon. I was late again and poor ben have to wait for me again..hee..so sorry. Asked him to come up my house first but he dun want so he juz tooka walk at bukit panjang plaza.

Played 2 games of bowling and I got the lowest points for both game =(. I really sucks at sports. NOt good in any kind of sports at all..got some hand and leg coordination problem I think.

After bowling, we went to bugis to eat steamboat. After walking along the lane, we decided to have steamboat at tian tian huo guo...coz onli it has aircon. However,I think the food dun taste veri nice. In fact, after eating a while, I get very sick of the food and stop eating although I am not very full. Think I did not even eat $10 worth of food. Tan leaving for US

The day before Tan left (Mon), I went to school to play tennis with Ernest and Tan. As you know, my sports is super lousy, I never really play lar, like juz hold the racket for fun. After tennis, we went to eat the SAKE at the new canteen. After which, we went to jp as Tan wanted to buy a pair of new shoes. While shopping with him, I came across these super cute shoes..

Tan left for work and travel on Tuesday. On Tues morning, I went over jp to meet him for breakfast..hee..or rather lunch with him and Ernest. The most hilarious thing was..I heard from Ernest that Steffe was late and by the time she rushed down to Changi Airport, Tan had left. So in the end, Steffe did not manage to send him off.

Singapore Expo

Was working as invigilator at Singapore Expo for UOL. It was actually quite a waste of my time and super not worthwhile for me as I live so far away. The travelling time was horrible. Anyway, I still have to complete mine assignments. We were suppose to wear formal. However, as I did not receive the letter, I wore a t-shirt and a skirt. OMG!!! When I reach there, I realise everyone is wearing very formal. I ask steffe are we suppose to wear like that and she replied "yes". I feel so out the whole day. I was the only one wearing jeans skirt,t-shirt and slippers.

Andrew wore super nice...super shuai!!! The first time I see him wearing long sleeve and he really look so cute and shuai.

After the exams, we went to eat followed by travelling to town for a stupid interview. It is a complete waste of my time. The person just talk and talk for 1 hour and the jobs he offer us are super low paid jobs. Steffe, Andrew and me feel that it is super not worthwhile to do.

Actually I have nothing much to blog...but a reminder from Ernest that I have not update my blog for a long time and to prevent my blog from dieing, i will juz write abt friends that make mine life xinfu bah!

This sem, I feel so happy to noe mine NTU family which includes...Steffe, Ernest, Ben, Andrew, Tan, Zloon. I feel really happy with them. They make me look forward to going school everyday except on days wif exams lar =p .

Steffe

My only female friend in the click. We share all kinds of gossips and secrets and chit chat abt the guys! Haha..whenever she is not around in school, I feel so lonely. The guys will all start bullying me too! Steffe is the best!

Ernest

The most emotional guy in my click I muz say but very caring too. Often give us a lift to other places or send mi home. Help me a lot in my school work too. Was almost always copying his work =D. Always like a big brother who always care for me. We share secret too and he is always willing to share his thoughts and feelings wif mi. If you need mi anytime can juz call mi!

Andrew

The most interesting guy within my click. Like to play wif andrew the most. He is juz veri funny and cute. The way he react to things is juz veri cute. Although he is not as caring as ben, but he will juz brighten up my day wif his funny response. Send mi home on n off too and thanks a lot for the mouthwash + lily.

Trong Tan

A smart scholar...lol....A very cheerful guy always smiling happily. He is always willing to help me whenever I ask him for help too. Help mi a lot in terms of my sch work and always willing to share wif mi his Vietnam culture and stuff. Finally 21 yr old too...can go watch Yangtze wif mi too...=P

Zloon

A good joker. He always like to add a lot of spices to stories and make them sound super funny. Very smart too and is mine other source of reference for school work. Haha...

Really nice to know all of them. Hope our friendship last forever!

Finally....EXAMS ARE OVER!!!! =) =)

Here are some updates before the exams and during the exam period.

New Canteen

The new canteen was open 1 week before our final exams. Went to eat at bristo with steffe on the first day of its opening. One word: BAD!!!! Food tatse horrible and it is super damn expensive. So if you were thinking of trying out eating at the bristo, forget it.

As it was the first day of its opening, there were lots of flowers. There were actually 2 big baskets fulls of lilies. 1 basket is full of white lilies while the other is full of pink lilies. Oh my god!!! Super lots of lilies and the lilies are all so big and attractive. LILIES!!! My favourite. How can I resist them. After lesson, we went back to bristo and this time Andrew really help me steal a stalk of lilies. Here is a pic of the lily that Andrew manage to help me steal. Hee!!! Seeing that lily really brighten up my day.

It is so unfair. Last sem paper was so much easier compared to this sem paper. This sem paper all like killer paper. I feel that I did the worst for biosep with 50 marks leaving blank for the paper. Next was modelling. What the hell with the MCQ. Cannot solve at all. MCQ = No working marks at all. Wrong guess= 0 marks. Disgusting paper!

Ok I am super super tired. Off to bed!

There are still tons of assignments, homework and quiz all the way to final exams. There is actually no time to settle down to study for final exams. =( =(

Holiday trips!

This sem, I have a strong urge to travel. I would not mind travelling to any country except for Malaysia and Thailand. I just feel that it is a long long time since I last travelled. Of course, I have no wish to travel with mine family at all as travelling with them is really no fun and a waste of money. Instead, I would want to travel with my friends.

Manage to get INSTEP to University of Western Ontario for this semester. However, as there is no one accompanying me to go there, I rejected the offer. So there goes mine Canada trip. =( If I were in Canada now, I should be happily enjoying life as my exam grades will not be counted.

Then there came this Work and Travel USA thingie. Steffe and me was so "on" about it initially. It sure do look attractive as the webby only state that we can work and earn about US6.5/hr and the accomodation is about US75/week. So we calculated and find thta it is quite worthwhile to travel to USA and stay there for 3 months and spending about only 1-1.5K. However, we were wrong. We went down to the agency to register for it and there is actually a registration fee of abt $300+ and is non refundable. In addition, the air tickets, visa application, etc etc all is included in a package which is compulsory. So in the end, we have to fork out about 4-5K. We decided that it is not worth it and there goes our USA trip.

Then Andrew, Ben, Steffe and me decided to just go Taiwan for a week. Currently, we were waiting for Ben to confirm if he manage to get his exxon job. If he manage to get it, we should be able to travel to Taiwan for a week in July. Hope the trip will not be cancelled.

Went to eat at JP Fish and Co with Ernest, Ben and Andrew on either Monday/Tuesday (can't remember). I was suppose to cut down on mine seafood intake but in the end, I end up eating seafood platter with them. But anyway, thanks for u guy's treat. Here are photos of them.

I am rather lazy and busy lately...so I am very very sorry for not viewing other people's blog lately. I might not update my blog very frequently too..

Juz finished weeks of quiz and assignments. Finally there are no quiz next week but there are still assignments and lab reports. Anyway, here are several photos taken of my ntu family again...Wanna say a BIG BIG " THANK YOU!!!" to them. They really brighten up my day and I am so glad to have known them. I love all of you! It was a long time since I last update my blog....so here I comes....

Chinese New Year

This year new year was rather bored. I only went to my both side grandparent's house on the first day and as usual, 2nd day was a gathering of mine family members at my house. I was continuously eating tons of stuff for the entire 4 days since chinese new year eve and my weight increased by 1 kg!!!! Lose weight lose weight!!! I lost money in gambling this year too...

Update for the past week

Cut my hair with steffe on wednesday. My hair was already so short so I juz let the hairdresser cut any style he wants to cut. We went to Tony n Guy academy at bugis to let the trainee, Jimmy cut. The hair cut was free as he need models to practise. However, he took 3 hours to cut for steffe and another 3 hours to cut for me..so long. My new hair is very very short now. I personally prefer my previous hair cut but all the guys and my colleagues say my new hair cut is nicer...more stylish. BUT it is so short now!!! =(

Went to lau wedding dinner last saturday. It was my first time attending a wedding dinner on my own without my parents. So surprise that my boss, Lau, actually invited me to his wedding dinner. I reach Fumara Riverfront hotel at about 8pm that night. The wedding dinner is actually very simple and short. Shortly after I arrived, food started to arrive too!!! I was arranged to sit wif shi qi's boss and some previous interns who I am not familiar with. So in the end, I change seats and went to sit with all my lab techs. So happy to see all of them..everytime I see them, I feel very happy. They are like my big family after working with them for half a year. In between the dinner, I went over to sit with my engineers as well. The female engineers were all dressed up in pretty dresses. The food was not very fantastics and I did not each much. In fact I can use my finger to count the no of items i put into my mouth. To me, the first dish was the nicest out of all the 8 dishes. However, I did not even finish eating the dish, the waiter came over to clear up le. The subsequent dish I onli take one mouth and finally it is desert!! Yam Paste..my favourite. BUT, I only manage to eat half a bowl then have to leave as I am leaving with my engineers. When I reach home, I am still so hungry and I went to eat love letters. Overall, I had a pleasant night..Wish my boss a blessful n xinfu marriage!

Of course wonderful maid muz be produced by wonderful mum n sir lar...Phang Kor everydae go killing pple. Was so pissed off with the lab that he said he wanted to bomb the whole lab up..lol... School life is actually very interetsing with them around. Everydae they make us laugh so much.

Saturday (19 jan)

Went to sing k with sy, hp, yvonne, raymond and sam..It was quite nice hanging out with them. In fact this was the 2nd time I hang out with raymond gang of friends. We were suppose to reach the crystallbell K shop at 3pm. However, due to some miscommunication, hp and mi only reach there at abt 3.45pm. We sang till 7pm and head toward serangoon for dinner where we met up with lieyang. Sam recommended the place and say that the hainan chicken is nice. So we order a chicken and some other dishes. As usual, sam and lieyang keep "shooting" yvonne during the dinner. Poor yvonne! As we were happily eating, a guy suddenly came over to tap me. I look up and saw this tall guy. I find that he look very very familiar. For a moment, I could not remember who is the guy. Then hp call out: "Wei quan". Then I realise..oh ya it is wei quan. Oh no!! I could not remember wei quan now...haha..He was having his dinner wif his family at serangoon too...so qiao. After the dinner, it was 8.30pm and they think it is still early. So they decided to go catch a movie. However, I had online meeting with my lab grp members at 11pm and sy had to go home too..so Raymond send sy, hp and me back home before joining the rest for movie...A tired day!

Entire Week

School life for this sem is really stress man! Every week, I have to hand in assignments. I had assignment for all my 3 core modules. Other than assignment, there is lab reports to be submitted weekly too. Lab is terrible. 6 hrs of staring at tat lousy equipments which always have failure...Assignments are tough...can spend a whole day reading the notes but dun even noe how to start doing the questions...was mainly copying from ernest...Met up wif wei quan for lunch in sch on fri too...Next week have quiz...n my haircut appointment wif steffe...y is sch life always so busy..cannot even properly enjoy it..

Friday (25 jan)

Went k again. This time is with steffe, zhiwei, shirlin, jun ping, vincent, kenny, andrew, ben, ernest. My mum was scolding mi of going out so often when my school work is so heavy. But Steffe keep calling me to go...I met ben first and we took bus to bugis. We waited for the bus from 8.30pm to 9pm. Reached bugis only at 9.40pm and vincent msg mi sae he reach katong le...We took bus 12 from bugis n lucky ernest was juz travelling from bugis to there after his lessons. So we drop off the bus and meet up with ernest to take his car to katong shopping centre. It was my first time going there...the shops look old and weird. They were all there when we arrived. The room was very small and we were all squeezed up in the small room. First time hearing ben singing....wa...he is the best male singer I heard so far...he noes how to sing almost all the song even Cantonese songs..Power! Nobody dare to sing with him for fear of destroying the song..haha..We sang till 1pm and all left separately home. Vincent offer to send me home although he live in punggol which is so far away. First time sitting on a bike...wa shiok!!! So windy and so nice. At first, I was quite scared..but once on the road..shiok man! Haha..vincent ask mi to check the street directory for directions to send mi home..i still dunnoe how to see the map lei...so he juz figure out the way to send mi home himself...Thanks Vincnet! Think he should be the last to reach home that night as he still have to travel back to punggol after sending me home.

Driving Test

Took my driving test yesterday. FAILED. I was so confident of passing as I did very little mistake throughout the test and I was feeling so happy on the way back to bbdc. In fact, I only got 10 demerit points.

However, just as I was very happy. This stupid auntie in pink cross the road. As she is very far away from my car, I just drove pass without stopping. Die liao lor. I got an immediate failure becoz of tat stupid auntie. Was feeling very depress the whole day. Was blaming myself and the auntie. Why can't I just stop for a while. If I were to stop for a while, I would have gotten my licence. Why must the auntie cross the road at that point of time..somemore she is the only one crossing. Alamak...there goes my driving licences. Was very unhappy as I fail not becoz my demerits point are high but becoz of not stopping for tat auntie. Haiz....

Wanna thanks all of my friends who actually msg mi good luck, msg mi or call mi asking mi how is my driving. My phone was pratically ringing the whole day yesterday. Was very touched by all the concern received. Now I can only pray hard for an earlier test date as the current available test date is in may. If anyone of you want to give up your driving test date, pls inform mi k....really hope to get a test date asap.

After 5 days of battling with my fever, I finally had my last medication last Friday. I sleep peacefully throughout the night without waking up every 6 hr to take the medicine. By Sat morning, I am perfectly fine and happily eating my ice cream. =D Hurray! Wanna thanks all the people who have shower mi with care and love when I am sick, constantly msging mi and asking me if I am ok.

After being sick for the entire week, I feel so out of the world. Everyday after school, I eat and sleep. Never communicate with anyone over the phone, school work is like piling up on my desk, never check edventure daily... Need to hand in unit op assignment on Friday. On Thursday, everyone is busy doing the assignment while I was sleeping the whole day. Feel so bad. In the end, Ernest have to explain to me and I copied his entire assignment on Friday. Argh!!! 1st assignment = easiest assignment = copy from pple. I gone case le lar...so bad..

This sem core modules are supper hard...esp unit op. Dunnoe where the hell or those formula comes about. Modelling is everything..including yr 1 maths, heat n mass...thermo..everything..n MATLAB assignment are like every week too....so every week have to hand in so many assignments....I have a bad feeling that this is a super difficult semester.

Fever Fever!!

Never slept well the day before sch reopen. On the first day of school, I have lectures from 9.30 all the way till 5.30 with only a 1 hour lunch break in the middle. Intend to have lunch with sy n wq as well. However, wq lunch break is of a different timing. So in the end, I only met sy for lunch. After lunch was modelling lec. I did not know it was with the cbe yr 2 students. I was so shocked when I enter LT2. So many guys. I was asking Steffe if we enter the wrong lec hall. But later saw a few foc pple and my other friends then I know I am correct.

I started to feel very uncomfortable during the lecture. At first, I thought that I am just not being used to having lesson after 10 months of not studying. But, by units ops lec, I know that I am running a fever. I feel uncomfortable and my head feel like exploding. I bear with the tremendous discomfort and stay on till 5.30. After lec, I still have to walk over to popular to help yixian buy her ia log book but it was out of stock. So a wasted trip in the end. Steffe then walked back to her hall to get her stuff. Actually I wanted to walk back with her and later I can meet up with hp to go home together. But by that time, my body seems to be a heater, emitting heat. I went home directly without waiting for anyone.

My temperature was 38.9 deg last nite. I ate a total of 4 panadols and slept from 7pm till this morning 10am. This morning, the fever is still there but it drop till 37.8 deg. So I went to sch as usual. Again after lunch with Steffe, Zloon, Andrew and Ben, I feel terrible. The fever is back and is 39 deg this afternoon. I did not even finish my plate of food as I really have no appetite to eat. Ben say I look very pale and should go sleep more. I went to visit the doctor today as my temperature keeps increasing. The doctor say I had viral infection. My temperature will continue to run up and down for the next 2 days and my fever will at least take 2 days to subsidise. My leg muscle ache too and my eyes are painful too. Haiz...I should eat more vit C to build up my immune system.

Now, I just hope that my fever can go down asap. Feeling very very terrible now.

Looking back

People usually look forward in the new year. However, I actually look back this year. In the past, I like to look back, look through the photos and reminiscence past memories. However, when I was 18, I decided to stop looking back at the past. Whenever I look back, I felt very pessimistic and feel that there is a lot of regrets in my life. I fail to treasure the people around me, fail to lead a fulfilling life, fail to enjoy myself ....So I decided to just treasure everything I have and enjoy every moment I have now, without looking back or thinking abt the future. But in this New Year 2008, I actually look back again.

Throughout the years, a lot of things have changed. I am no longer the ger who can cry anywhere irregardless of the people around me or the venue. Haha..cannot even remember the no of times I cried in Primary and Secondary School. In canteen can cry, in classroom can cry, outside teachers room also can cry. Also dunnoe why my tear glands are so active. The current me is more optimistic bah. I dun cry easily unless watching sad shows and I tend to take things more easy. Is this good or bad?

However, I feel that I lost the courage to express my feelings. In the past, I dun really bother about how people view me. I laugh out loud when I am happy. (Can even sit on the classroom floor and laugh out loud in front of the whole class) I cry when I am sad. I ignore people when I am moody. But now, the only expression is smile. From sy, I realise that I lost the courage to express my feeling. Whenever I am feeling sad or depress, I will just find things to occupied myself. I will tell myself it is ok, the feeling will go away. I dun dare to face my own feelings. Some people thinks this is having the so-called high "EQ". But isit really high EQ? I feel that I am so cowardly. I am just running away from my own feeling and suppressing it, thinking that as long as I dun think abt it it will not be there. Very often, it is still there. Just bluffing myself to make myself feel better.

Somebody name appear again. Someone I hope I could avoid forever. But the person name appear again. I feel kind of depress every time I saw anything that has got to do with that person. However, I still went to view that person profile. After viewing, mood seems to be worst. I really dunnoe how am I gonna face that person if we meet again one day. I just hate the feeling that person give me.

Well, for 2008, my wishes are:

Pulau Ubin Trip + Countdown

Went Pulau Ubin to cycle with sy, Steffe, Andrew and sy group of friends on 31 dec 2007. The weather was super hot and we cycled from abt 1pm till 5pm. Think we have combed the entire Pulau Ubin. The road is not as nice as I thought it would be. Very bumpy with lots of up slope and lots of holes. The guys could easily go up the slopes but the gers was like super tired of the slope and we had to get down to push the bike up the slope. Was bitten by lots of mosquitoes too. But overall, the entire trip was still alright. Wanna thanks Andrew for always staying behind Steffe and me to ensure that we wont get lost. Hee..xin ku ni le. Here are the photos:

After the cycle, we went to Changi Village to eat dinner. We ate quick a lot of food and was very full. Next, we went separate ways. Sy and her grp of friends decided to go marina bay to watch fireworks while Andrew and me decided to go Steffe house for countdown. So we went our separate ways. Andrew went home to bath and rest first. I went to Steffe house and we went for a swim + steam bath. Shiok! After swimming and steam bath, Andrew and Adeline has also arrived at Steffe house. Then we began our mahjong and tibit sessions as we were hungry again. Actually we never really countdown bah. We just drink some beer, eat tibits, play mahjong. At 1pm, we went out to the 24 hrs hawker near Steffe's house. A very big hawker I would say with like tons of delicious food and there were so many people at the hawker. We ate prata and it was delicious. Adeline and I stayed over at Steffe house while Andrew went home. Steffe room was very dark and nice to sleep in. If I have no driving lessons on the next day, I think I would have slept till 12+.

Thursday

Had driving in the afternoon. Was suppose to go ice skating with my pri sch friend but was cancel as the ice-skating ring was too crowded. Kind of miss ice skating since I have not skate for quite some time. So quite disappointed lar. Went to watch Alvin and the chipmunks in the night with Ernest. Haha..I never watch movie in je b4 although it is near to me. The screen is not very big. Lucky we get the back few seats otherwise I think we have to raise our head throughout the show. So overall, I think the cinema is not very good. The movie was nice. Chipmunks are so cute!!! So funny and so CUTE!!! Enjoy the show. Feel kind of bad towards Steffe as she wanted to watch the movie in town instead of at je. But I first confirm with ernest to watch in je..so I just watch with Ernest at je instead of going town to watch with Steffe, Nick and Zhi Kang. After the movie, we had dinner at KFC. Dunnoe isit becoz the time is late, the food there was quite terrible. The bandito wrap was super hard and the chicken piece also very hard. Make me eat until so awful...=(

Friday

Went to Man Ling's 21st bday at Tanjong Katong. Not yet receive the photos so I shall post the photos up later. Was actually quited bored over there as my closer friend Yixian, Chrystal and my 2 daughters are not there. There were only 3 others gers there. Never really speak much for the entire bday party bah. Wanted to go Clementi to collect papers from my tution kid but he went chalet till 1st dec. So I just went home.

Saturday

Thanks to Eugene suggestion, they decided to come to my house to eat chocolate fondue instead of going to Sentosa or to zoo. The decision was only made last nite at about 12am. So I had to wake up early to pack my room which is really in a big mess. Decided to wake up at 9am to pack but I really could not get up. I was so tired and I slept till 12pm. I woke up and just pack my room till about 2pm. They only reach my house at 3pm. Here are the photos:

After eating the fondue, we had a chat in my bedroom as they were rather noisy, talking all kinds of rubbish with my mum at home lor. So I have to ask them to talk in the bedroom with my door closed. Thanks to hp for her big mouth, I think I have no face le. Mum and Eugene know everything le. However, I am still glad that she did not mention tat "someone". Haiz...I have decided not to let hp noe much of my stuff in future. Letting her noe = no privacy.

Boring Christmas

I am rather lazy to update my blog lately. Have been sleeping a lot these few days but I still feel so tired. My whole body dun seems to have energy. Getting more and more lazy. Just feel like lazing on my bed the whole day. Room is still in a mess. Should be packing it this weekend or next week bah as school is gonna start soon. Next week will be the last week of holiday.

I am rather bored these few days. No activties except my driving. No money to go out and spend also. Not yet received my last month pay from Sumitomo as well. Lately, I dun like the feeling of being bored. In the past, I can stay at home to watch drama one whole day or rather a few days and I kind of enjoy quiet moments to myself as well. Now, just staying at home 1 day, I feel super bored. Even with drama to watch, I still feel bored and will start to think a lot..which I dun like bah. So unlike the usual me. Play too much? Suddenly feel like I am going through another stage of life. Feelings change, behaviour change. Went to view edventure today. Look so strange, so unfamiliar. Maybe it is juz half a year of not interacting it and using it. Once the sch sem start, everyday will have to use and maybe everything will be back to normal.

Had chocolate fondue and choclate log cake wif my family on Sunday. It is quite scary to eat so much chocolate stuff.

Had buffet dinner at Dragon Gate Restaurant at HabourFront on Thursday. My brother actual birthday was 18 Dec. Was suppose to have dinner on 15 Dec, Saturday night. However, due to Yumei birthday party, I cannot make it so it was push back to 20 Dec instead. Was suppose to have the lunch dim sum buffet but I had driving. So again becoz of me, it was change to dinner buffet.

The buffet dinner was expensive. Each person is about $32 and I would say that the food is not very tasty. Although it is buffet lar, but I never eat much stuff. Here are the photos taken:

Escape Theme Park

Went to escape with hp yesterday. They are having a promotion now and tickets are selling at $7 per person. Since, we have not been to escape, hp and I decided to go. Poor sy. Her mouth is still swollen so she has to give it a miss.

Actually, I have not play much games b4. When I am young, my overly protective parent dun let me play a single game. I am not allow to sit roller coaster, pirate ship, bumping car or anything. Every time I go theme park or funfair, I can only walk around, eat popcorn or candy floss. No playing at all. No childhood life at all right. In fact, yesterday was the first time I went to play roller coaster and all kinds of things there.

The sun is bloody hell hot yesterday. We arrived at about 1pm. Can you imagine we were standing under the hot sun from 1pm till about 5pm with a short resting break at 2.30pm in burger king. There are so many people. Every station also must que and que under the hot sun. My back is burning and I can feel the intense heat wrapping around me.

Everyone say Singapore theme park is not scary. However, as I am scared of height, I think escape is my max limit le. After sitting the pirates ship, I feel kind of uncomfortable. Kind of like feel like vomiting. It is like your whole body is up at the top and suddenly your body cum down with your heart, liver, lung, stomach, intestine and everything still hanging up there. There are 2 little gers beside me on the ride. I was quite afraid that they will fall out of the seat so I kept looking at them. Haha..but I think they are more brave than me. They can still stand up and look down. After the pirates, we went to take roller coaster. Lucky I have not eaten anything. 2 exciting ride together, I think I will throw up if there are things in my stomach. Hp has motion sickness so she dun feel comfortable after the rides too. So we decided to go burger king and grab a drink + most importantly enjoy the air con. Haha.. we dun dare sit the inverter after taking the pirates ship. We conclude that it will be too much for our body. Out of all the game, love the "Go Kart" most. Super shiok. But hp dun enjoy it. She was rather demoralised after the ride. So we decided to head towards Changi Airport since the Rainbow ride is still not available.

Went over to Yumei house for her bdae party after I am back from my Bukit Timah Hill trip on Saturday. Just received the photos so I only update it on my blog now.

Super heavy rain when we went to her house. We were all fully drench by the time we reach there. Was quite surprise to met Wei Zhi over there. Since after sec 4, I have never met Wei Zhi. She still look as pretty as b4. In fact, I think she look like one of my current course mate, Min.

Have been rather moody this few days. In fact, it all started coz of a stupid dream on Saturday. Anyway, have no wish to elaborate on the dream.

Went to cut my hair on Sunday to improve my mood. Sounds lame lar. But I always have a tendency to go cut my hair short when I am very unhappy. Feels different after cutting hair everytime. Even if the haircut was ugly, I still feel better. Dunnoe why, weird right? This time, my haircut was bad. Dun really like my new hair cut. Looks like mushroom head.

Driving timing was super early these few days. Have to wake up early even though it was holiday. Finally, pass my lane changing and is now learning Teck Whye test route. Having some problem with the steep slope over there as I dun have sufficent hand strength to pull up the handbrake to prevent the car from sliding backwards. Instructor ask me to do some training on my left hand as my left hand is rather weak.

Was suppose to go escape theme park with hp today, but she postpone it so I went swimming instead. As my mood is rather bad, I decided to go swimming alone. Just feel like being alone for the time being. Swam for about 30 laps and felt super tired after the swim. Somehow tired is a better feeling than the moody feeling. At least when I reach home, I can just close my eyes and fell asleep without thinking anything.

Bukit Timah Hill

Went to Bukit Timah Hill with Ernest yesterday. At first we arrange to meet at 10.30am in the morning. As I woke up early coz of my mum loud voice and the birds chirping, I msg Ernest to see if we can meet earlier at about 10am instead. He replied "okay". So I get up brush teeth wash face and eat a little breakfast. Then shortly after that, Ernest say change back to meet at 10.30am. I look at the clock and it is only 9am. If meet at 10.30, I 10 then need to leave the house. So I just went back to sleep. Unfortunately, I overslept this time. I sleep till Ernest msg me at 10.30 and say he reach le. Alamak! My mum never even bother to wake me up lor. She thought my trip was cancelled.

Rushed off to Ngee Ann Poly to meet up with Ernest. I reach there at abt 11am. But he very nice lar, never blame me for being late. We spend a little time trying to figure out how to go to Bukit Timah Hill and you know as usual, I dunnoe how to read the map. Haha..map reading skill has never improve b4. I remember that I have never pass before geography map reading in Sec sch. Think highest score is 3/10?? So Ernest has to stop and look at the map himself. Reach Bukit Timah Hill at about 11.30. Oh, I park his car!!! Although not very straight and good lar, but I park his car! Hee! =D

OMG! Never knew Bukit Timah Hill route is so steep lor. The first section was the most steep one. So tiring lor! At the last section, there was 2 choices. Slope and steps. Ernest say the steps is more tedious but will lose more weight. After like half a year of not exercising, I should have just take the slope lar. But I took the steps. The steps were quite high and I think I stop for more than 5 times while on the way to the summit lor.

Finally reach the summit. I thought the summit will have nice scenery. But I was very wrong. There was nothing..all trees around with a small sheltered area for people to rest and a rock.

Think Ernest look very photogenic. I look so fat and ugly. Time for exercise man.

Then we went downhill and saw a monkey on the way. Frankly speaking, I don't really like monkey or rather I am quite scared of them. There was once when a monkey came up to snatch my things at dunnoe where. So scary lor. We left at about 12.10. Ernest let me drive his car around the carpark for a few rounds and he give me some tips on how to drive along a narrow bend, something like the "S" course in circuit and some tips on parking. He and my instructor both also say I driving very anxious..must relax more. I will try to. Haha..anyway thanks for letting me drive your car and for the tips. =p

Went to a coffee shop opposite beauty world to eat. I order 2 milo dinosaur and 1 cheese prata. Ernest order 2 mango milkshake and 1 cheese egg prata. It is a little different from the last time I eat it. Last time, the prata was a little bigger and the milo dinosaur was really huge. Now, it is just a small cup such that I have to drink 2 cups to quench my thirst. But after 2 cups, I am really very full. Ernest then give me a lift home.

This few days, I feel super xinfu, supper happy. There are always so many nice people around me. People who cares for me, loves me and brighten up my day, making my life so blessed.

My brother brought me a chocolate fondue set and a big packet of coco powder for my belated birthday present. I was so happy and I tell hp and sy that they can cum over my house eat fondue. Hp commented that it was so sinful, so fattening. But it is chocolate fondue lei. How can any girls resist it. CHOCOLATE FONDUE you know, yummy yummy chocolate!!! The moment I think about it, my saliva gonna drip out le. =p Hp and sy, when u all want to cum n eat chocolate fondue??

Went out to sing k with sher, steffe and andrew at the 10 dollar club yesterday. We spend quite some time to find the location, so we enter late at about 2.15pm and sing till about 7.30pm as there is some disturbance in the middle so we could extend half an hour longer. It was fun singing and taking photos with them. We actually spend quite some time taking pictures with all kinds of weird positions.

So sad that zloon cannot join us. I felt quite bad for making zloon travel all the way to Senja LRT station and in the end due to the heavy rain, I did not meet up with him. He pass a stack of season greeting cards to the LRT stall owner and I only went to collect it this afternoon as the shop was closed when I return home last night. He wrote Christmas card for sher, steffe, andrew n me. So touched! It was quite some time since I last received a Christmas card. Thanks a lot! Will help you pass the cards to them.

Lastly, Ernest agreed to pei me go Bukit Timah hill this coming Sat. Hee! I have never been to Bukit Timah Hill before. I know it sound a bit dumb lar, a 21 years old Singaporean never been to Bukit Timah Hill. I hope it will not rain on that day. Ernest say he is gonna treat me too. Yeah!! I can have my yummy yummy prata and milo dinosaur. Miss eating prata and milo dinosaur at the shop houses opposite of Beauty World.

Have been very busy for the entire week. So I have decided to update the entire week at one go.

Sunday:
Yeah!! My parent are finally back from Hai Nan Dao. I dun have to help out with the housework every night. Hee! =p They reach home at about 10.30pm. I help them to unpack the stuff and upload the photo they took immediately. Other than food stuff, my mum brought me a nice pink crystal bracelet.

Monday:

Took half day off from work to do subject registration. Phew!! Lucky Steffe and me manage to get into C32 and get lab grp 2. In total, we have 20 AU next sem. Other than taking the core modules, we have decided to take Bioseperation and Bioanalytical Technique instead of a PE and a UE. The timetable for next sem is not very good but not say till very bad lar after adding all the other CBE PE. Sy, Hp see my timetable and arrange time to meet k..

After subject registration, rush off to town K-Box to sing with sy. I only reach at about 2.30pm and sy was already there singing. We sang till about 7.30 and sy left to attend her friend's farewell dinner while I go home alone..so sad!

Thursday:

Friday was my last day at work. So on Thursday night, I was busy wrapping the gifts for my colleague. I dunnoe if I am slow or what. I actually took hours to finish wrapping all the gifts. In the end, I went to bed at 1+am after all the wrapping.

Friday:

I have stayed in Sumitomo for 22 weeks and yesterday was my last day there. I had mixed feeling. Dunnoe if I am happy or sad to leave there. Ending attachment means that I can sleep late every day, go out anytime, concentrate on my driving and do more activities and rest well before sch reopen. However, it also means that I cannot see and joke with the lab technicians and engineers anymore. After working there for 22 weeks, I have been rather attached to the people in Sumitomo. I was so touched by the the lab tech when they actually buy a cake and nice scented candles for my farewell. Kamaruddin who is not from my QA lab also brought me lots of chocolates. Khai from EDLS also wanted to give Shi Qi and me a treat. I was so so so touched by all the people there. I will definitely miss all of them. In the end, I stay in the company till 8pm and took photos with the night shift molding guys as well. Photos are uploaded in separate post.
